I joined Hotstar as a founding designer, where I designed the product experience from the ground up across a diverse array of platforms, such as Android, iOS, Web, Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV; it helped pave the way for many other OTT platforms in the country.
Owing to the success of the product, I ended up heading the product and graphic design teams responsible for most of the company’s significant feature releases.
I was formally recruited to MX Player as their global head of design. My first major assignment was regarded as a breakthrough for MX Player when it moved from only being a video player to a full-fledged entertainment platform.
I overlooked a strong 50-member design team across Product, Graphics and Games in India and China.
