Luck is for those who don’t believe they can make a difference in life
What comes to your mind when you say “Luck”? Being fortunate to have everything in your favour? Well, that’s what my life is all about. But being a person with a rational approach to life, I think “luck is for those who don’t believe they can make a difference in life”. But sometimes, really weird incidents happen in your life which compel you to believe in luck. And something just like this happened to me.
As exams are nearing, I happened to goto the University today to get my hall ticket stamped. After getting the work done, I got a call and I started speaking as I neared my car. I kept all the majorly important documents on top of the car and continued talking. And when the call ended, I quickly got in and zoomed away. I really don’t know why, but I stopped on nearing the University gates and started checking my cellphone for a missed call I had just got. While doing so, a man suddenly appeared out of nowhere and asked me “is this yours?” handing me all the valuable documents. I calmly said “yes, thank you” and he disappeared into the crowd. Later, I realised “WTF? I had just forgotten all my important documents there on top of the car...” I was frozen for a second... but later I felt so much happier and luckier in life. When I had zoomed off, all the documents fell to the ground and that man picked up my stuff and came all the way to where I had stopped, thinking to himself “he knows he’s dropped his stuff and has halted, I’ll go return it to him”. And now I was thinking to myself “wow, I’m the luckiest dude alive on this planet!”
Speaking of luck, I somehow luckily managed to get hold of this mega house anthem of 2005 “Need To Feel Loved” by Reflekt. The first time I heard this I was overwhelmed with emotion. Sweeping, haunting, instantly a classic. If this tune doesn’t melt your heart, you’re dead. And best of all, it’s the No. 2 best selling dance single at Juno – the largest online dance music record store!
