Why So Serious?

Honda launched it’s new car, Jazz on Thursday which is being defined as a segment defining car targeted towards a unique group of people who want the latest and more stylish models with the best of technology, safety and practicality in their car.

Personally, I’ve always been a fan of Honda since the time they launched their new look City. Almost all their cars have been impressive in terms of design, looks, style and performance. However, I couldn’t really digest this ONE thing about the new Jazz: it’s punchline: "One Life, Why So Serious?"

Yes, now I’m making you think, "Isn’t this the tag line that was made way popular by the latest Batman movie, The Dark Night?" Go on, do a search and you will come across loads of posters, articles and also a fully featured viral website too – www.whysoserious.com; all part of the viral marketing campaign for the movie.

Is the India media really out of ideas? Or are they reaching a saturation point now? What do you think?
