The Nokia Booklet 3G arrives
You heard it right. I’ll have to retire my Compaq…
The choices were simple: Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta, Mahindra Renault Logan, Maruti Suzuki SX4 and of course the Chevrolet Aveo. My research started somewhere in mid March when I eventually decided that my small car needed an upgrade. Internet was my best bet and after going through hundreds of pages of specifications, features and images, I came to a couple of conclusions which would eventually lead to a brand new Chevy.
When asked, people around me would give me different opinions. Most would say go for a City while the rest would recommend an SX4. City is the most successful running sedan amongst all these, but I wanted one which is unique. What’s the fun in having a sedan which every third person owns? SX4 looks good from the outside, but is very basic from the inside. Luxury and Maruti don’t go hand in hand anyway.
Next come Hyundai Verna and Ford Fiesta – both were pretty good looking cars (I must say) but didn’t have those royal interiors I was looking out for. You cannot deny that Chevrolet Aveo has the richest interiors amongst it’s segment. Also, Mahindra Renault Logan is not really a great design. Even if the mileage and stuff is superb, I wouldn’t mind if I get a sedan which looks royal, classy, has the best comfort level, is luxurious and stands apart when on the road. And all my expectations were met when I test drove the Chevrolet Aveo. It felt perfect!
Besides, Chevrolet Aveo is designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, a world famous Italian automobile designer who has previously designed beauties ranging from the Alfa Romeo series to the BMW to Lamborghinis. With such a world-class designer behind the production, my choice can’t go wrong!
